First to clarify why I write this essay. I have been wagering online or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the more you try the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this plan almost never ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set aside prior to starting your play. DO NOT exceed that boundary, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Don’t spend your successes no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, regardless if it’s online or at a physical casino, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Always remember, gambling should be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even begin.
